What guarantees do you give?

All VELUX Roof Windows are guaranteed for ten years by VELUX themselves. This covers the window, the flashing and the glass. We also guarantee all installations for ten years.

Does the installation quote include the relevant flashing?

Yes, the price includes either EDZ for tiles or EDL for slates other flashings available on request, including combination flashings.

Do I need planning permission?

Planning permission is only required when you are in a conservation area or in a listed building. Although some planning requirements can now affect installations on the side aspect of a roof.

Can you construct a tunnel from the roof window to allow light in to the room below?

Yes we can construct plaster boarded tunnels from £175 please contact us for further details.

Are we FENSA Regeistered

No. FENSA cannot issue a certificate for windows installed in loft conversions or extensions, building control can issue these, this will be covered under the application for the conversion/extension. No certificate is required for the replacement of glass or repairs to existing roof windows.
