Velux MSL Solar Awning Blind
The VELUX MSL solar awning blind is an external blind perfectly suited to stop strong sunlight and heat even before it hits the pane on your roof window. While not in use, the awning blind rolls up out of sight under its casing. When extended to the base of the sash, the semi-transparent fabric cuts out the direct rays of the sun, still allowing full visibility to the outside, and reduces the heat of the sun by 73%.
The blind can be positioned anywhere in the window and can also be used with the window open.. *For older Velux windows 1996 - 2001 i.e GGL 304 a ZOZ 238 installation kit is required. For older Velux windows pre 1996 i.e GGL 4 windows a ZOZ 228 installation kit is required. For Velux integra GPU windows, a ZOZ 229S kit is required.
This blind cannot be installed on roof windows when combined with an additional fixed element (GIL and GIU) or on smoke ventilation windows. Delivery estimate 14 working days.

Every VELUX roof window carries a unique Type Sign that details the type and size of the window. In most cases the Type Sign is located at the top right-hand of the sash, behind the control bar.
Type Signs differ in appearance depending on the model of your VELUX window. Please identify and select the version of Type Sign on your window from the illustrations below:
